Allianz Care Australia Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

Allianz Care Australia is our preferred provider for Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). OSHC is the health insurance international students need to cover medical costs while studying in Australia. It is a condition of the student visa (subclass 500) to hold OSHC for the full duration of studies, unless an exception applies.

Allianz Care OSHC covers hospital admissions, ambulance, and gives some cover for specialists, tests, and prescription medicines. Students also get access to Allianz’s Telehealth Services powered by Doctors on Demand, along with a 24/7 emergency and medical assistance helpline.

What Did We Do

We integrated Allianz Care Australia’s OSHC system into the KONPARE platform so education consultants and migration agents can quote, compare, and issue student health cover from one screen. Live pricing pulls automatically based on visa duration, single or family cover, and number of dependants. Once payment clears, the policy certificate is emailed within seconds, ready for the student visa application.

Students get the full Allianz Care ecosystem from day one: Find-a-Doctor tool, Telehealth Services, MyHealth portal, and the MyHealth mobile app.

Telehealth on Demand

24/7 phone and video consultations with qualified Australian doctors via Doctors on Demand. Students can get medical certificates, repeat prescriptions, and specialist referrals without leaving home.

MyHealth Self-Service

The MyHealth portal and mobile app let students manage claims, add dependants, access the e-membership card, and update personal details on their own. App is available for users aged 18 and over.
